Access to technology

Our services are offered in-person and virtually. To participate in virtual services you will need to have access to a device with a secure internet connection.

Captioning for online services

Captioning is available for virtual services provided via the organization’s secure online platform.

Childcare

There is no childcare available at Cedar Centre for adult participants. If this is a barrier for you to participate in adult programming, please consider registering for adult services available online.

Washrooms

Gender-neutral, single person washrooms are located on the first and second floors.

Service Animals

In line with the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (“AODA”), Cedar Centre welcomes people with disabilities and their service animals. Service animals are allowed on the parts of our premises that are open to the public and other third parties. We will also ensure that all staff, volunteers and others dealing with the public are properly trained in how to interact with people with disabilities who are accompanied by a service animal.

Support Persons

We welcome people with disabilities who are accompanied by a support person. Any person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to enter Cedar Centre’s premises with his or her support person. At no time will a person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person be prevented from having access to his or her support person while on our premises.

Scents

Cedar Centre is scent-sensitive. We kindly ask that all guests refrain from using scented products before coming to the Centre or while at the Centre.
